3000 years of history in 90 seconds

The Biblical Achaeology Society pointed me to this great tool from Maps of War to illustrate the various empires that have conquered the Middle East -- going all the way back to Ancient Egypt to today.

The site also has an interesting map on the growth of today's major worldwide religions. And yet another one on which American presidents have led us into the costliest wars.
